Your Voice Matters.
Our groundbreaking podcast management software helps you move through every stage of operating a successful podcast with ease, and our comprehensive training ensures that you have all the skills you need to create your ideal podcast.
Our company is a joint venture between a software development firm that creates mission critical SaaS applications for a specialized area of the U.S. Government (Storm Petrel LLC) and a boutique consulting company focused on strategic planning and business development (DHMC). That’s probably not what you expected! However, we are also a multicultural team of published authors, speakers, software developers, security experts, project managers, strategists, marketing experts, emergency responders, policy advisors, avid outdoorspeople, athletes, community activists, and, yes, podcasters and aspiring podcasters. In other words, we are just like you—people with professions, interests, passions and something to share.
This group of people like you had a problem; we needed a tool to manage our podcast planning, production, promotion and revenue-generating activities. As we scoured the industry, the best we could find included Excel spreadsheets and Trello boards. Not exactly ideal for our needs.
The straw that broke the camel’s back was hearing a renown podcaster’s newly published podcast episode about how she uses an Excel spreadsheet to manage her podcast production tasks. Excel certainly has its value as a business tool but it’s not an appropriate management tool for people who are obsessed with creating a quality podcast efficiently. We knew we had the skills and responsibility to create the tool we needed and share it with other podcasters. Podcast Flow, LLC was born that very day in June. (We’re action takers! Sound familiar? I bet it does!)
In addition to our amazing development team, we partnered with some of the world’s leading companies to bring strength and reliability to component areas like Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host our cloud-based application, Oracle for the database that houses all your information, Okta for security, Recurly for secure payment processing and Zoho for help desk solutions.
Your Podcastflow Team
Christina is our resident adrenaline junkie…where there’s fire, you’ll find her stomping it into submission.
She’ll say: I like to build. Her projects have dotted the globe: telemedicine in Alaska; software applications for FedEx; infrastructure projects with Cisco; fiber optic communications buried in Iraq. Her software applications helped the Government of Puerto Rico manage $5B USD after the 2017 disasters caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria. She’s designed and written tools to help find “the bad guys” and reconcile finances.
Christina has also been an emergency responder for 20+ years and was, until recently, the chief of her local volunteer EMS. She was a nationally ranked swimmer and is the author of five published books and a handful of short stories and articles. As if that weren't enough, she's also the creator of two podcasts: The History of Now, which exposes fraud and corruption in public funds and addresses economic injustice in the US, and; The Soul of an Internet Machine, the story of a software development team experiencing the ups and downs of design, development, and launch phases, exploring The Cloud and software development along the way.
Christina is rarely idle. When she’s not solving problems or saving lives, she can be found creating something new on her farm in rural Vermont.
Story is a second-generation IT professional, growing up at her father’s knee as he worked from home for Nintendo. In addition to being incredibly cool, Story has never seen a problem she won’t roll up her sleeves to solve; she wrote key pieces of Podcastflow. She is a voracious reader and loving pet parent. Story can do almost anything…except cook. Maybe invite her over for dinner
John is here to keep your data safe, as he has done for the US government for a few decades. We’d tell you more but then we’d have to kill you.
When John isn’t being cyber-awesome, he’s a competitive runner and avid outdoorsman.
“What do you think about building software to help podcasters?” That seemingly innocent question should have warned us that we were going to spend the next seven months building Podcastflow.
Kelly’s background in strategic planning and business development feeds her relentless dedication to helping you turn your podcast into a profit. She is passionate about helping people find and share their voices and loves adding zeros to the end of numbers – turning 100 to 10,000, be it listeners or dollars. She is a joyfully addicted coffee snob and when she isn’t obsessing over making your podcast dreams come true, she is feeding someone, hanging out with her kids, or reading (probably about more ways to help you be heard). Oh, and creating her own podcast, Coffee & Common Sense, of course.
As the captain of our support team, Raúl is your go-to guy for solutions. He’s tenacious, creative, a dedicated family man and the most compassionate human we know. He is passionate about basketball; his favorite team is the Warriors. Raul is originally from Guatemala; habla español perfectamente.
